Seasons
The fishing season at Two Moon Lodge spans from early June through October, offering a consistent experience for anglers targeting the lake's primary species. Early June, as the shallow bays warm, is prime time for Walleye, which remain willing to bite throughout the season until the water turns over in October. For those seeking larger game, Northern Pike are a major draw, with their aggressive strikes on spinner baits and spoons in weed beds and back bays. Lake Trout fishing is a highlight, particularly in May and early June when they can be targeted with flatlining trolling spoons or body baits. As the surface water warms, these char move deeper, requiring downriggers or deep jigging techniques for the remainder of the summer. Smallmouth Bass are abundant and active feeders throughout the day, making them an exciting addition to any fishing trip, readily hitting a variety of lures and baits on shallow rock shoals and points.
