• Profile and preferences: any information you add to your profile, such as favorite species, target waters, or saved destinations.
• Bookings and inquiries: details necessary to process a reservation or inquiry — dates, party size, contact information, and messages to Operators.
• User Content: reviews, photos, and other content you submit.
• Communications: support requests and any other correspondence with us.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, referrer, device type, browser, and similar telemetry.
• Approximate location: derived from your IP address, used to surface nearby destinations and conditions. Precise device location is used only with your permission.

Information from third parties

If you sign in through an OAuth provider, we receive basic profile information (name, email, avatar) from that provider as described in their disclosures.

2. How We Use Information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

• Process bookings and facilitate communication with Operators.
• Personalize content, such as nearby destinations, relevant species, and current fishing conditions.
• Send transactional messages (booking confirmations, security alerts) and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How We Share Information

• Operators: when you make a booking or send an inquiry, we share the information necessary to fulfill it (name, contact details, party details).
• Service providers: hosting, analytics, error monitoring, payment processing, and email delivery vendors who process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual protections.
• Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
