"fishingSeasonsNarrative": "Fishing out of Marathon in the Florida Keys is a year-round affair, but the character of the fishing changes dramatically with the seasons. Our winter months, from December through February, are all about the sailfish. We target them near the reef lines where they stack up in the cooler water, and it's prime time for billfish action. This period also offers excellent bottom fishing for snapper and grouper on the reefs and wrecks, with wahoo becoming active near deeper structures in February.\n\nAs the water warms in March, the game shifts. The tarpon migration begins, bringing exciting inshore action, and the flats light up with permit and bonefish. Offshore, we start seeing the first waves of mahi-mahi. April is the peak of the tarpon run, offering some of the most exciting angling of the year, while offshore the mahi-mahi numbers increase and blackfin tuna add to the excitement. While the detailed guide focuses on these key transition months, the fishing opportunities are diverse throughout the entire year, with different species taking center stage each season.",
