Seasons

The Chobe River offers year-round fishing, with distinct advantages depending on the season. The "green season," from November to April, brings warmer temperatures and increased birdlife, coinciding with excellent fishing conditions. This period is ideal for anglers seeking a vibrant ecosystem alongside their angling pursuits. The "dry season," from May to October, presents cooler weather and higher concentrations of game along the riverbanks, creating a spectacular backdrop for fishing excursions. While techniques may shift with the seasons, the Chobe River consistently provides a rewarding experience for dedicated anglers, with tigerfish and bream being prime targets throughout the year.
