Why book

Fly-out Alaska lodge where 26-inch rainbows hit dry flies during the legendary mousing season on untouched Bristol Bay tributaries.

Overview

Bristol Bay Lodge sits on Aleknagik Lake in the heart of Wood-Tikchik State Park, accessible only by floatplane from Dillingham. Founded in 1972 and family-operated for over 50 years, the lodge accommodates up to 24 guests in eight main lodge bedrooms plus four private cabins, running week-long all-inclusive programs June through October. The fishery peaks July–September during massive sockeye and coho salmon runs—anglers routinely fill limits by lunch, then pursue trophy rainbow trout
